Home & Business Highway

  • BT’s Home and Business Highway product provided internet access without the ubiquitous dial-up modem and at 4x the speed. At its peak, nearly 1M units were in use in the UK, with similar products delivered via the Ericsson network for use around the world. With the advent of ADSL, the BT Highway solution was superseded, but elements of this design team went on to found EOS Communications. The name originates from EOS the Greek goddess of dawn.
