The Hermes IP Telephone System gives Businesses all the features of their traditional office telephone system plus extra features that previously were simply not possible. So for the office user, the “look and feel” of the system will be similar. They still have a range of sophisticated desk handsets, headsets, cordless, fax machines and all the features with which they are familiar (e.g. call transfer, on-hold, forwarding, hunt groups, message boxes etc.).
But a whole range of more sophisticated options opens up. For example: the office can be spread geographically with offices and sole workers anywhere around the world; calls can be routed based on time of day; the reception function can be centralised, call recording, hot desking, one number find me/follow me, call pick-up, instant messaging, Outlook integration and other advanced features are all available.

EOS Communications can port virtually all geographic numbers and UK non-geographic numbers. This means that you enjoy all the benefits of the Hermes IP Telephone system whilst retaining all your existing business numbers.
Publish local numbers in overseas markets and bypass diversion charges back to the UK.
Any remote worker with broadband access can retain the features, numbers and group membership of their office-based colleagues without any VPN or tunnel to the head office.
Voicemail can be added to the main business numbers and any or all of the individual user numbers. Voicemails can be accessed directly from the phone, remotely via a PIN number and can in addition be forwarded as an email with the original voice message attached as a wav file.
Inbound fax messages can be forwarded to group or individual email addresses. This service is available for ported and new Fax numbers
Allows multiple external phones to ring (such as a mobile), when a call is received on a direct dial (DDI) phone.
Allows multiple EOS IP phones to share the same extension number (e.g. a phone in the office, a phone at home and a softphone on a laptop).
Single or multi-level auto-attendant/s can be set up to greet callers with your message (e.g. “Thank you for calling Tasty Cakes Ltd., please press one for orders, two for deliveries or three for accounts). The auto-attendants also support dial-by-name, dial-by-extension, press zero to leave a message etc.
Single or multiple call centres can be established, with music on hold (customizable) and queuing options. Real-time monitoring of queue length, agent activity etc. is provided. Comprehensive historical reporting of call centre and agent performance is available.
The person on reception is often the first point of contact with a Business and this can form a lasting impression to customers, so presenting a professional image at this point can be of critical importance. Our Broadworks Reception expands the options available beyond the core requirements of call handling and provides more sophisticated business features.
Unity is PC application that combines Call Control, extension presence, Instant Messaging, Directory Integration, Service Configuration, Outlook Contacts click-to-dial and many other useful features. The Busy Lamp Field indicates the busy/available presence status of up to 20 colleagues. The simple and intuitive interface makes answering, transfering, holding and conferencing multiple calls simple. Users can configure all services including call forwarding and simultaneous ring. Unity comes in a vareity of flavours: Unity Lite, Unity Pro, Unity Agent, Unity Supervisor, Unity Wall board and Unity Enterprise.
