IP Video Surveillance

  • There is now a more flexible alternative to traditional analogue CCTV that has been the mainstay security surveillance product for years. Solutions based on IP cameras connected via the internet are rapidly becoming the standard solution when considering a CCTV for security monitoring.  Images no longer need to be stored locally and the quality of images can be much greater than the old grainy images stored on tapes.

    Connection is simple, the IP Cameras are connected to the Local Area Network (LAN) just as you would for a computer. The camera can also be powered over the LAN (PoE), so there are no additional cables required.

    The network administrator can view the cameras remotely, analyse the recordings and interrogate the system with ease.
